About us
STARLET, i.e. Little Star Maine Coon Cattery – got its name from the fact that I always nicknamed my first pet cat in my childhood „starlet”, she was with me for 14 years, after a while this nickname „starlet” stuck to all of my cats, because every kitten is a little star to me. Hence the Starlet name of the cattery, with our breeding cats we regularly go to exhibitions, where they can be visited. I have kittens relatively rarely, once in a year, during the winter months, so I am not a cat factory, the cats need to rest in summer, just like us. In winter, however, we can always expect a litter, and the many tiny rolling furs in the apartment are an irreplaceable experience, and they grow up in a very short time, a few days, a few weeks, and from then on they provide an irreplaceable experience to the new owners, and we can only know from the feedback of the owners that the kittens feel great in their new place of residence.

Gentle giant
We give kittens only to people who understand cats and love cats, I very much like to recommend this beautyful and majestic breed, the Maine Coon, which has a very unique appearance among cat breeds and has equally unique noble characteristics. The Maine Coon is a real gentle giant among other breeds, but it’s still a cat, jumping up from its deepest sleep it can catch anything in seconds, destroy anything that flies in and gets in front of it, a fly in flight (seriously!), a butterfly with a precise jump, etc., so curtains and fragile objects are not in safe next to a Maine Coon in its element. The cats are healthy, the parents are of course regularly vaccinated, they have genetic tests from a laboratory and an ultrasound test from a veterinarian, and their kittens live with the adult cats in our apartment, socializing together.

About Us
STARLET MAINE COON CATTERY is registered with Macskamánia Magyar Macska Egyesület, membership number: MMME 1352. We regularly participate in international cat shows organized by MMME, which judges based on the American system of TICA, in Lurdy Ház shopping center in Budapest, and we often appear as an exhibitor at cat shows organized by other associations as well.
